Rahul Dravid, one of India’s legendary batters, retired from international cricket nearly ten years ago, but his fan base has remained consistent. Richa Chadha, a Bollywood actor, is the most recent addition to his fan list. Drvaid was her first love, according to her. She has admitted that she no longer watches cricket on a regular basis, but she used to watch games with her brother on occasion just to see Dravid.
Richa, who is currently promoting the third season of Inside Edge, a cricket-themed web series, also stated that she stopped watching the game after Dravid “phased out” of the Indian team.
Dravid announced his retirement from Test cricket in 2012, and he played his final One Day International (ODI) in 2011. He is now the Indian cricket team’s head coach. He took over for Ravi Shastri, who stepped down following the ICC T20 World Cup.
India recently defeated New Zealand 3-0 in the T20I series, led by Dravid. Dravid previously led the Indian team on a tour of Sri Lanka in July, when a second-string team visited the island nation.
“I was never a big fan of cricket when I was younger.” My brother did, in fact, play cricket. There were times when I would turn on the television and watch the game. I had a great time watching Rahul Dravid play the game. I literally stopped following the game after Jab woh phase out hone lage. Richa was quoted by the Times of India as saying, “My first Mohabbat is Rahul Dravid.”
Rahul Dravid’s career spanned 164 Tests and 344 One Day Internationals. In both formats, he scored over 10,000 runs. He has 13,288 Test runs and 10,889 ODI runs to his name. Aside from that, he appeared in one T20 International, scoring 31 runs. In first-class cricket, he has scored over 23,000 runs.
