Indian chess player Gukesh D, also known as Gukesh Dommaraju, is a young man. He is highly renowned for being the third-youngest player to hold the rank of Grandmaster in history. Gukesh came close to breaking Serey Karjakin’s record for being the youngest grandmaster, but fell short by 17 days. At the age of seven, he started playing chess. His parents are both employed within the medical industry. He has an ENT surgeon for a father. He has a microbiologist for a mother. During the Asian Youth Chess Championships, he took home five gold medals. He is currently winning five games in a row at Chennai Chess Olympiad’s top board. His most recent triumph over Alexi Shirov of Spain was recognised by teammates and officials.
