Jennifer Winget took to Instagram to justify her absence from social media with a long and ‘unfiltered’ video.
Jennifer Winget, a television star, is a frequent user of social media and has a sizable fan base on Instagram, with over 10 million followers. She has, however, been largely inactive on digital platforms for some time. She called her time away from social media last year a “Social Media Detox,” which she said was necessary to “rest in action.” Jennifer, on the other hand, broke the silence this time by revealing that she isn’t doing well through these trying times.
The actress apologised to her fans for her long absence from social media in an Instagram video. She stated the reason for being “unedited” and “unfiltered,” as well as pleading with fans not to judge her. She revealed how she has been battling her way through this trying time. Jennifer mentioned that she was not feeling well these days and that she was experiencing mixed emotions such as being “happy, sad, helpless, and optimistic.”
She hasn’t been totally incapacitated, and she still has the energy to get things done. She said that she is trying to keep herself and others inspired in the face of the pandemic. She praised the contributions of her many co-stars as well as those in the industry who have helped others in some way.
Jennifer went on to discuss the activities that make her happy. Jennifer stated that watching funny videos, checking in on her friends and family, and engaging in hobbies such as singing, dancing, cooking, watching sunrises and sunsets, or savouring favourite meals are some of the things that can help her get through this depressing time. Jennifer concludes by assuring her fans that she will continue to engage with them and urging them to stay healthy and take the requisite precautions.
Jennifer also included a long note apologising for her lack of social media activity recently. “If the video helps even one of you, my intent has been served,” she concluded.
Her fans reacted positively to the video, with more than 12 lakh views and over 4000 comments.
Jennifer was most recently seen playing Maya Mehrotra in the iconic show Beyadh 2, which ended abruptly due to the ongoing pandemic.
