Karthi, one of the most well-known actors in Tamil cinema, has managed to deliver films that are both commercially successful and intellectually stimulating. He recently appeared in the dramatic films Theeran Adhigaram Ondru and Kaithi as well as the financially successful blockbusters Sulthan and Viruman.
On September 30, Mani Ratnam’s epic multistarrer “Ponniyin Selvan” aka “PS-1,” which also stars Chiyaan Vikran, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, and many others, will be released. This year’s Diwali will see the release of his P.S. Mithran-directed “Sardar.”
Karthi has agreed to play the protagonist in a new film directed by Raju Murugan, known for the films “Cuckoo” and “Joker,” which we broke to you first. Karthi performs a completely unexpected role in the Prince Pictures production known as “Japan.”
Vijay Sethupathi was formerly said to be a candidate to play a parallel lead role in “Japan.” Sunil, a well-known Telugu star, is reportedly joining the cast to take on the significant part. The gifted actor made his acting debut as a comic and appeared in several movies with well-known heroes before playing a villain in “Pushpa.”
Sunil subsequently received his biggest break when S.S. Rajamouli chose him to play the lead role in his blockbuster film “Mariyadhai Ramanna,” which was then adapted in Tamil as “Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham” and starred Santhanam. He reprises his character from “Pushpa” in that movie as well. Sunil’s participation along with that of other cast and crew members will be made official as “Japan” is anticipated to begin filming in the upcoming days. Stay tuned.
