An Indian actress and dancer named Manju Warrier primarily work in the Malayalam cinema industry. She played Smita in her first film, Sakshyam, at age 16 in 1995. Govardhana Gireesham, the song she performed for the first time, was written by Raveendran and included in the film Aaram Thampuran. She debuted in the Doordarshan television series Moharavam, which is where she began her acting career. She made her acting debut in the film Sakshyam at the age of 16. Then the jury for the National Award gave her performance in the film Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu a special mention. Her performance in Ajith's bilingual film Thunivu was well-received by critics.

She demonstrated her dancing talent while still in school, and she also received more accolades. Dileep, an actor in the Malayalam film industry, and Manju Warrier were wed on October 20, 1998, at the Aluva Sri Krishna Temple. Meenakshi is the name of the daughter of this couple. Later, in 2015, this couple divorces.

She also received the Kalathilakam prize for the Kerala Youth Festival for two years.

Later, she starred alongside Mohanlal in Kanmadam and Aaraam Thampuran, Dileep in Ee Puzhayum Kadannu and Kudamattam, Summer in Bethlehem, Pranayavarnangal, Pathram, and Kaliyattam, among other films. Her performance in the film Ee Puzhayum Kadannu earned her three Kerala State Film Awards.

On October 24, 2012, she gave a Kuchipudi dancing performance inside the Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple. Then, in July 2013, she starred opposite Amitabh Bachchan in a television ad. She later appeared in several other commercials for Kalyan Jewellers with these actors as well as Aishwarya Rai, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Prabhu Ganesan.

She released the novel Sallapam.

She made her reappearance in the Rosshan Andrews-directed film How Old Are You in 2014, playing Nirupama Rajeev. After a 17-year absence, she will reunite with Mohanlal in her upcoming Sathyan Anthikad-directed film Ennum Eppozhum.

She is a founding member of Women in Cinema Collective, a group that works to protect the interests of female Malayalam film industry employees.
