Eye Strain

Palming

A quick activity called palming can help you unwind and relieve eye strain. Sit comfortably in this workout position with your elbows resting on a table. After warming up your hands by rubbing them together, place your palms over your eyes and interlace your fingers on your forehead. For a few minutes, close your eyes and take deep breaths to help your eyes rest and unwind.

Blinking

Your eyes can stay moisturised and experience less dryness by blinking. Your eyes feel dry and strained when you focus on something for an extended period of time, such as staring at a screen. Every 20 minutes, simply blink your eyes quickly for a few seconds to keep them lubricated and moist.

Figure Eight

The flexibility and synchronisation of the eyes are greatly enhanced by this activity. Imagine a figure of eight around 10 feet in front of you. Next, move your eyes in a clockwise and an anticlockwise motion while you trace the figure of eight. After a few minutes, repeat the exercise with a different object, like a nearby window or a doorknob.

Eye-Flexing

Eye flexing eases eye strain and enhances blood flow to the eyes. As though you were surprised, close your eyes firmly before opening them widely. After a few repetition, move your eyes up, down, left, right, and diagonally while keeping your head still.

Using Near and Far Focus

Exercises that focus on near and far objects can help minimise eye strain and increase eye muscle flexibility. Hold a pen or pencil out at arm's length and concentrate on it for a few seconds to complete this exercise. Then turn your attention to a distant object, such a tree or a structure. Hold on for a moment, then return your attention to the pen or pencil.

However, if you have any vision issues or discomfort in your eyes, you must see an eye doctor. Always remember that prevention is always preferable to treatment, and that maintaining good eye health now can help you avoid visual issues in the future.
